George Tsiolis is a fearless dream builder. Despite graduating from one of Canada’s top law schools and having the option to either work with big firms or enter his family’s very successful food business, George discovered the Internet in 1995 and insanely left everything else behind. With no connections, contacts or technical expertise – and every sane person in his life calling him crazy – George started building his digital empire through financial chat forums in 1996, launched his first investing newsletter in 1997, started consulting to small cap public companies in 1998 and became a millionaire by 2000.
Today, he runs AGORACOM, a modern day financial communications company that transformed the small cap financial industry throughout North America, with over 300 hundred clients and 600 Million page views. He is recognized as an industry pioneer thanks to ground breaking partnerships with Google, Yahoo Finance, AOL Finance, MSN Money, Globe Investor and Blackberry that nobody in the small cap world thought was even possible until George showed up. AGORACOM was recognized as one of Canada’s fastest growing companies in 2009.
Along the way, George became an investor in startup companies, produced a nationally televised show from the Toronto Stock Exchange, presented at many finance and tech conferences and founded FanCom, a partnership with over 30 NFL superstars to create the football version of AGORACOM.
George is a hyper experienced investor and trader, with over $200 Million in stocks, commodities and currency trading in his lifetime. A Fortune 500 commodities company once reported that George makes his trades at the best possible price over 90% of the time.
Make no mistake about it, his path has not been paved with rainbows and roses. George has had to overcome obstacles and movie script level adversity that many respected industry professionals claim would have destroyed an ordinary man. George credits his perseverance with very simple but powerful perspectives on life that are rooted in appreciation, gratefulness, optimism, grit and humility, each of which are a cornerstone for helping members of GeorgeU achieve their own dreams.
